Who can join the AAP NJ Purchasing Alliance? Minimize

Only current AAP NJ Chapter members are eligible to take advantage of this 20% discount through MDAdvantage.

Not an AAP NJ Chapter member? Join today. This discount can only be applied to members of the Chapter. (Please inquire through National AAP about your membership status if you are unsure. You may currently be a member of National AAP and not the NJ Chapter.)

Qualifying Pediatric Specialities:
Pediatrics - No surgery
Pediatrics - Minor surgery
Pediatrics - Subspecialties*
(*Physicians who practice in other subspecialities as recognized by the American Board of Pediatrics and who are members of the Purchasing Alliance are also eligible for a 20% discount if their practice derives 90% or more from the treatment of children aged 21 and younger based on number of patient visits)

Discount Information for the AAP NJ Purchasing Alliance Minimize
How can you take advantage of this 20% discount?
 
Once you are an AAP NJ Chapter member, simply follow the steps below:
 
 
  1. If you are already insured with MDAdvantage and meet the program qualifications:
    Please complete the Purchasing Alliance application form and mail to AAP NJ Purchasing Alliance with a $125 check for the annual membership fee.The initial payment will cover membership in the Purchasing Alliance for one year from the date of payment. Next, notify your broker or MDAdvantage directly and your 20% discount will be automatically applied to your policy upon renewal. 
 
  1. If you are currently insured with another carrier: 
    To explore discounted rates with MDAdvantage, please complete the Purchasing Alliance application form and mail to AAP NJ Purchasing Alliance with a $125 check for the annual membership fee. The initial payment will cover membership in the Purchasing Alliance for one year from the date of payment. 

    Next, you will need to apply for insurance with MDAdvantage by contacting your broker or MDAdvantage directly. These discounts are open to all MDAdvantage brokers. A complete list of MDAdvantage brokers can be found on their website. If your current broker does not represent MDAdvantage, a recommended contact is Henry Kane of Argent Professional Insurance Agency who assisted AAP NJ in the development of this program. He may be reached at 1-877-769-1999.
 
PLEASE NOTE THAT MDADVANTAGE’S UNDERWRITING GUIDELINES WILL APPLY TO ALL PROSPECTIVE INSUREDS AND PREMIUMS WILL VARY BASED ON A NUMBER OF UNDERWRITING FACTORS. 
 
If MDAdvantage declines to offer you a policy at this time, the Purchasing Alliance membership fee will be refunded.
